You can now claim a tax refund check of up to $500 if you live in this state
Thanks to the state's surplus, Georgia residents may be eligible for a $500 tax refund.

Good news for Georgia residents, thanks to the state’s surplus, the state government will send a tax refund of up to $500. This third round of refunds was made possible by the passage of House Bill 112, with the state expected to begin sending checks this week.
“Because we’ve managed our state’s resources wisely, we’re again able to return money to hardworking Georgians who know how best to use it,” said Governor Brian Kemp following the passage of the bill.
“Along with our acceleration of the largest income tax rate cut in state history, this latest refund is just one more way we’re working to support the people of our state, their families, and their businesses, because that’s not the government’s money, it’s theirs!”
Who is eligible for the $500 refund in Georgia?
