The Witcher 3: how to get Henry Cavill's armor and enable Netflix contents
We share with you how you can get your hands on The Forgotten Wolf set for Geralt in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as part of the free DLC based on the series.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt accompanies the release of the next-gen patch with an assortment of additional content inspired by the Netflix adaptation. The series starring Henry Cavill already has its reflection in CD Projekt RED's virtual journey. Therefore, we share with you how you can unlock them in the game and what you should keep in mind. Remember that these contents are free in all editions of the game, including those of the last generation and Nintendo Switch from this December 14.
How to unlock Henry Cavill's armor in The Witcher 3
The mission "In the Eternal Fire's Shadow" is the main task that introduces the DLC based on the series. It takes place in Devil's Pit, a mine near Hanged Man's Tree, the place where Geralt begins his journey once he complains about the tranquility of White Orchard. When you open the map you will locate it as a red circular fortress.
At the entrance, you will meet a young man from the Eternal Fire cult who will ask you for help with a disease that plagues the place. You can accept the mission once the dialogue is over, which will add it to your agenda so you can complete it whenever you want. The recommended level to do so is level 14; if you enter at a lower level you will be challenged beyond the usual.
We won't reveal the specific content of the mission; what we can say is that it takes about half an hour to complete, depending on how long it takes you to explore the mines. When you finish you will receive the diagrams for Geralt of Rivia's armor from the first season.
When it finishes you will see that you will have a small continuation. Now you will have to go to the library of Kaer Morhen to be able to unlock the complete upgraded set, except for the upgraded silver sword that you will already have in the crafting menu. The mission is called "Scavenger Hunt Forgotten Wolf School Gear Diagrams". The entire Forgotten Wolf set will become manufacturable when you complete the task.
How to activate Nilfgaard's armor and Jaskier's alternate look in The Witcher 3
To change the appearance of Nilfgaard and Jaskier's troops you must do it from the main menu of The Witcher 3. Before loading the game go to the 'game' tab in settings. When you scroll down among the options you will see the possibility to activate several special aspects. Check the box and when you control Geralt the changes will be done. You can deactivate it whenever you want by doing the same process.
