When Halloween 2023 event in Fortnite starts?: date and times
Fortnite’s Halloween 2023 event will be available from Tuesday, October 10, 2023 through Friday, November 3, 2023 at 4:00 AM ET.
We have almost three weeks to enjoy the content of Fortnitemares 2023 in Fortnite, as we can see in the blog post on the official website.
New weapons and items from the Halloween 2023 event in Fortnite.
Fortnite’s Nightmares 2023 event has brought with it the following weapons and items:
- Wood Stake Shotgun: is a new shotgun that can be found on the ground, in normal chests, in rare chests, and in holo-chests. The Mythic variant allows you to regenerate health by dealing damage to enemies.
- Thorne’s Vampiric Blade: This is a new Mythic weapon dropped by Kado Thorne when you defeat him in Solar Selenic. It allows you to regenerate health by dealing damage to enemies.
- Pumpkin Launcher: The classic pumpkin launcher returns for Halloween. It is a rocket launcher that launches explosive pumpkins. It can be found on the ground, in regular and rare chests, in holo-chests, and in flying drones.
- Witch Broom: The Witch Broom is back for Halloween. They can be found on the ground and in chests.
- Sanguine Sweets: These are the candies we have seen in previous Halloween events. We can find them in candy buckets, ringing doorbells, defeating guards, or taking down bosses.
Free Halloween 2023 Quests and Rewards in Fortnite
Like previous editions of the Fortnite Halloween event, this year we have quests to complete for XP and free items:
- Complete 5 Fortnitemares Quests to earn the Bat Royale Back Bling and a Cat Banner Icon.
- Complete 15 Fortnitemares Quests to earn the Sweet! Emote, Phantasmic Fall Contrail, and Hypno-Bat Spray.
- Complete 25 Fortnitemares Quests to earn the Revenant Rider Glider, Within the Sanctum Loading Screen, and Rise of the Revenant Lobby Track.
Horde Rush returns to Fortnite with the Halloween 2023 event.
The Horde Rush game mode is returning to Fortnite in Halloween 2023. This is a cooperative game mode where up to four players take on the Cube Monsters. As in previous iterations, there will also be quests to earn XP and free rewards:
- Complete 1 Horde Rush Quest to earn the The Murk Wrap.
- Complete 4 Horde Rush Quests to earn the Heart-o-Lantern Emoticon.
- Complete 7 Horde Rush Quests to earn the Batwing Bonespike Pickaxe.
New outfits for Halloween 2023 in Fortnite
As usual, Fortnite is getting new outfits for Halloween 2023. The main new features this year are collaborations with Alan Wake, Jack Skellington, and Michael Myers.
For the duration of the Halloween 2023 event, new Halloween outfits from this year and previous years, such as Ash Williams from Evil Dead, will rotate daily in the store.
Alan Wake has arrived in Fortnite, bringing with him a pickaxe, back bling, and his own wrap.
Jack Skellington brings his outfit and his alternative Christmas Jack style. His accessories are the Zero Back Bling, the Peppermint Parasol Pickaxe, and Jack’s Sled Glider. He also comes to the store with two new emoticons: Jack’s Scary Face emote and the Lock, Shock and Barrel’s Tub emote.
Michael Myers comes with his new outfit, pickaxe, back bling and his own emote.
