How to find Radahn, Consort of Miquella in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC
The Starscourge returns for a memorable battle. He is the final boss of the Elden Ring DLC, and we are here to help you find and kill him.
After killing Romina, Saint of the Bud, and using the Messmer’s Kindling, it’s time to climb to the top of Enir-Ilim. The goal? Nothing more or less than facing the final boss of Shadow of the Erdtree: Radahn, Consort of Miquella. The path to the battle is not easy, but it’s a walk in the woods compared to the battle itself, for this is an enemy capable of giving you nightmares. But fear not, we are here to lead you to him and help you kill him.
How to get to Radahn, Consort of Miquella
Strategy for defeating Radahn, Consort of Miquella
- The first thing you should know is that he’s the most difficult enemy in Shadow of the Erdtree, so you’d better arm yourself with patience.
- His combos are very long (up to five or six hits) and his double swords deal a lot of damage, so you have to be very careful when dodging. If you have a lot of stamina and a shield with 100% physical protection, blocking is a good option.
- When he jumps and hovers in the air, he will summon several meteors and send them violently towards your position. The best way to avoid them is to run sideways without stopping.
- When his blades glow purple, be very careful as Radahn will jump towards you in a matter of milliseconds.
- Once you have taken about 40% of his health, Radahn will transform.
- This second phase is very difficult as his attacks deal Holy damage and are very damaging. Do not block; dodge.
- The most dangerous of all is the explosion of light that occurs when the ground in the area begins to glow. If this explosion catches you near it, you will most likely die instantly, and if you have summoned a spirit such as Mimic Tear, it will kill him as well.
- There are times when it will try to grab you, but don’t worry, it’s a chance. If it grabs you with its hand, it will talk to you instead of attacking you. As soon as he lets you go, use the few seconds he stays still to attack him. However, if he grabs you three times in the same fight, you will die instantly.
- Again, patience is recommended. You may have the fight under control, but die in one hit due to the aforementioned explosion. He may be more relaxed on other attempts and you may be able to finish him before he does.
Congratulations! After killing Radahn, you will see a light spot in the battle area. Interact with it to enjoy a very important scene and get a piece of equipment: the light band Miquella was wearing.
