How to get Magneto’s X-Men outfit in Fortnite: Quests and Rewards Guide.
We tell you how to get the new outfit of Magneto from X-Men in Fortnite. Complete guide, all the quests, and their rewards.
Magneto from Marvel’s X-Men is now available in Fortnite as part of Chapter 5 Season 3. It is the secret outfit of the season, exclusive to the Battle Pass, and only accessible by completing its quests before the end of this season. In this guide, we will tell you everything you need to know to get your hands on the most powerful mutant of them all, including how to get Magneto’s outfit and how to complete his quests:
How to get the Magneto outfit in Fortnite: Step-by-Step Guide
The Wasteland Magneto outfit is exclusive to the Fortnite Season 3 Chapter 5 Battle Pass. It will be available between July 2 and August 16, when this season ends. That gives us about a month and a half to unlock it.
The first step is to purchase the Battle Pass for the current Fortnite season. This is a service that costs $9.99, although it is also included as part of the Fortnite Club, a monthly subscription that costs $11.99 per month. Once we have the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass, we will automatically unlock Magneto’s quests, and we will need to complete them both to get the outfit itself and to get all of its accessories.

Visit Weapon X Lab
This quest asks us to enter the Weapon X Lab, located south of the Grand Glacier. It is a bunker in the snow with the door blown open. We must enter the underground building.
Collect Magneto Power
This quest asks us to obtain the new Magneto Power Weapon. This is an item that we can find randomly on the ground or by opening chests all over the island, and that the Wasteland Magneto himself will sell to us in exchange for 400 gold bars:
Wasteland Magneto is an NPC that lurks in the northwestern part of Brawler’s Battleground.
Travel distance in the air with Magneto Power equipped
This quest requires us to travel a total of 300 meters in the air while equipped with the Magneto Force. As you already know from the previous quest, this new weapon can be obtained by buying it from the Wasteland Magneto himself or by randomly finding it on the ground or by opening chests. The idea is that while we are equipped with the Magneto Power, we jump and use the primary shot while we are constantly moving in the air; the low gravity effect of this weapon will make us accumulate distance in the air little by little.
Hit vehicles using Magneto Power
This quest is self-explanatory: it simply requires us to shoot the primary Magneto Power at any type of vehicle ten times, regardless of whether there is an enemy on board or not. First, we get a Magneto Power, as we have already learned, and then we simply shoot pieces of scrap metal at the vehicles all over the island a total of ten times with this weapon.
Complete Page 1 Quests
This quest is automatically completed when you complete any three of the Page 1 quests. This unlocks the Wasteland Magneto outfit and the Wasteland Cloak backpack accessory.
Eliminate opponents with Magneto Power
This quest is also self-explanatory and requires us to eliminate a total of five enemies with the primary shot of the Magneto Power. Each hit deals 95 points of damage, so if an enemy is at full health or has some shielding, we won’t be able to eliminate them directly, but will have to keep throwing pieces of junk at them until they fall.
Block hits using the Magneto Power
This quest requires us to block a total of two hundred enemy shots with the secondary shot of the Magneto Power. This alternate function of the weapon creates a metal shield in front of us that can block a certain amount of damage before breaking. By using it repeatedly, we should be able to block a total of two hundred bullet hits. Keep in mind that the shield is only frontal, so we have to look directly at every enemy that shoots at us. This means that it will not protect you from attacks from behind or from the side.
Damage opponents from one story above or higher
This quest requires us to inflict a total of 2,000 points of damage on enemies that are at least one story level above or below us. Since the damage can be done with any type of weapon, it is possible to complete the quest without intending to. In Battle Royale, this is easier to do because we can deliberately build to be above the enemies we encounter and thus shoot them with a certain height difference between us and them. Keep in mind that the Magneto Power allows us to float in the air for a few seconds when using the primary shot; this can also help us in the progress of this quest.
Configure Rift Beacons
This quest requires us to interact with three Rift Beacons that can be found at these locations on the island:
To interact with them, simply zoom in and hold down the appropriate button/key for a few seconds.
Complete Page 2 Quests
This quest is automatically completed when you complete any three of the Page 2 quests. This unlocks the Magneto style for the Wasteland Magneto outfit and the Magneto’s Cloak backpack accessory.
