Ranked has arrived in Fortnite. After seven years without such a mode, Ranked is finally available where we can play Battle Royale and Zero Build modes and earn different ranks. In this article, we will share all the details about Ranked in Fortnite:
When Ranked comes to Fortnite and how to play
Fortnite’s Ranked Mode has been available since May 17, 2023. They were introduced to the game with patch 24.40, which was applied on that day.
To play Ranked Matches in Fortnite, select the playlist from the Discover tab. Only the following group sizes are available:
The names of the playlists are Ranked Battle Royale and Ranked Zero Build.
Note that we can only play ranked matches if we have completed the first Fortnite Quest, which is to outlast 500 other players by staying alive in matches.
What are the ranks in Fortnite Ranked Matches?
In Fortnite Ranked Mode, we have the following ranks: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Elite, Champion, and Unreal. There are eight ranks in total.

Ranked Quests in Fortnite: how to receive new Urgent Quests and rewards.
Fortnite Ranked Mode brings with it its own Quests that we can complete to get exclusive rewards. Ranked Urgent Quests are obtained as soon as we jump off the battle bus in each match. We get a different Urgent Quest in each match, and progress is not retained between matches.
