What are the ranks in Fortnite Ranked Matches?

In Fortnite Ranked Mode, we have the following ranks: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Elite, Champion, and Unreal. There are eight ranks in total.

  • The first qualifier season will begin with Fortnite patch 24.40 on May 17, 2023.
  • The initial rank of this Season Zero depends on our previous performance in Battle Royale and Zero Build, as well as the result of our first qualifier.
  • If we manage to reach Unreal, we will keep this rank for the rest of the season and it will be impossible to drop from it. Next to the rank, we are given a number that indicates our exact position among all the players in the world.
  • We move up or down in the rankings depending on factors such as our position in each game or eliminations. In addition, eliminations are worth more as the game progresses and also affect the rank of the eliminated players.
