007 First Light has released its PC specifications, and you’ll need a top-of-the-line computer to run it in 4K
The studio outlines minimum to Ultra presets, with 4K and DLSS support aimed at high-end systems.
007 First Light is set to arrive at the end of the month, featuring a never-before-seen origin story of the famous British agent. Ahead of its release, IO Interactive has already revealed the new specifications and requirements needed to play its upcoming title on PC. Beyond the minimum and recommended specs, the studio has added more options so players can play and get the most out of their hardware. That said, those who want to play in 4K will need a powerful computer.
Along with the list, it’s also noted that DLSS isn’t enabled for the minimum, recommended, or enthusiast settings, leaving only the highest setting (Ultra) to support DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Frame Generation. An RTX 4080 will most likely be more than sufficient. The requirements table also revealed that, unfortunately, 007: First Light will not launch with support for Path Tracing and DLSS Ray Reconstruction on PC, but will be available this winter (or in the third quarter of this year).
