2025 Pokémon World Championships: All the rewards during the event

Pokémon fever can be experienced around the world, with surprises for those who enter to watch the streams on Twitch.

We are getting closer and closer to the 2025 Pokémon World Championships, which will be held this weekend in Anaheim, California, and the best Pokémon players in their different games will be gathered to show who is the best. But what about fans who can’t make the trip? While there are already schedules for the broadcast, many can still get prizes by watching each of the competitions.

2025 Pokémon World Championships Activities and Rewards

This time around, Pokémon will have rewards galore just for watching the Twitch streams. From Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, to Pokémon GO, Unite, and TCG Live and Pocket will have rewards throughout this weekend, either as Twitch Drops or as codes that will appear throughout the streams. Here’s everything you’ll be able to get from the comfort of your own home:

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Watch the broadcasts and get a code for Mystery Gift and get the Farigiraf from Luca Ceribell, Honolulu champion of the Senior division.
Those who attend in person will receive a code to download a Toedscool.

Pokémon TCG Pocket

It’s the first TCG Pocket Worlds and with it the first gifts. Players who watch twitch.tv/pokemontcg for 45 minutes will receive a code that will grant them 12 Wonder Hourglasses and 12 Pack Hourglasses.

Pokémon TCG Live

The card set will give a 5-card set just by logging into the game starting August 14: three Rare Illustration rarity cards with the full evolutionary chain of Tynamo, Eelektrik and Eelektross, as well as two Rare Ultra rarity Supporter cards: Hilda and N’s Plan.

For those who watch the stream on Twitch will be able to receive a card box, sleeves and coins for this year’s World Championship-themed, as well as a set of Hydregion evolutionary chain cards. In addition, if you watch a co-transmission, you will be able to receive a Rare Illustration rarity card from Frillish and Special Illustration rarity cards from Jellicent ex, Hilda and N’s Plan.

Pokémon GO

Tune in to Twitch.tv/PokemonGO for 30 minutes on August 15 to get a temporary Investigation that will get you a match with yekai0904’s Skarmory, champion of the 2024 Pokémon World Championships.
If you watch the stream for 30 minutes on August 16, you will get another temporary Research that will lead to encounters with Lapras, Sableye, and Lileep; or Squirtle, Stunfisk, and Inkay; or Sentret, Paldean Wooper, and Wimpod.

Pokémon Unite

Tune in to twitch.tv/PokemonUNITE to get both a platinum Murkrow emblem and a limited 3-day license, as well as 500 Aeos Coins. Also, you can keep an eye out for codes to get the 2205 World Cup Jersey for your in-game character.

The 2025 Pokémon World Championships also arrives in Pokémon GO

As usual, Pokémon GO will have activities related to the Pokémon World Championship, with clothing, Temporary Investigations and the always classic Pikachu of the event. These activities will start from Friday, August 15 at 10:00 am, until Sunday, August 1, 2025, at 20:00 (local time). This includes everything from the debut of the Pikachu in a varsity jacket, event bonuses, special raids, field research tasks, as well as paid temporary Research.

And of course, in addition to the items for our avatars, you will also be able to access a pair of T-shirts for the game, one through the code that will be shown in the broadcasts on Twitch, as well as an exclusive one through an in-game scavenger hunt.
