‘28 Days’ chronology: in what order, where and how to watch all the movies in the saga

With the arrival of the new film in theaters worldwide and two more on the horizon, it’s time to catch up on the acclaimed horror franchise.

Lovers of horror and zombie movies are in luck, as ‘28 Years Later’ is now available in theaters around the world. As it could not be otherwise, a release like this makes many fans -or new interested people- decide to catch up or watch again all the installments of the saga, something that always gives rise to a question: in what order and where to watch all the ‘28 Days’ movies?

In what order and where to watch ‘28 Days’

Unlike other franchises such as ‘Star Wars’ or ‘Alien’, in this case, the explanation is very simple, since they all continue the events that took place in the previous one, so the ideal order is the same as that of the premiere of each installment.

‘28 Days Later’ (2002) - Not available on streaming; you can rent or buy it on platforms such as Apple TV+ and Amazon.
‘28 Weeks Later’ (2007) - Available on Hulu and Disney+.
‘28 Years Later’ (2025) - At the moment, it is only available to watch in theaters.

Remember that the recent ‘28 Years Later’ is the first part of a new trilogy, so in 2026 will come ‘28 Years Later: The Bone Temple’ and later, at a date to be determined, a third and final chapter, whose name has not yet been revealed.
