A cookie box leaks Yoshi’s design in ‘Super Mario Galaxy’ and hints at the appearance of another legendary character
A ‘Super Mario Galaxy’ merchandising product leaks Yoshi’s appearance and the apparent presence of Bowser Jr. in the movie.
There are times when merchandising products can leak details about a movie, as was the case with ‘Super Mario Galaxy.’ A couple of months before Nintendo released its first teaser, the official logo for the film was revealed in an image on an Old Spice deodorant can. And now, the situation has repeated itself with a cookie box that clearly shows what Yoshi will look like.
As reported by user TheVideoGameNutt on Reddit, the Tops supermarket chain in New York listed a product called “Super Mario Galaxy Sugar Cookie Dough,” which can be used to bake cookies shaped like Yoshi eggs. The box includes two images of the character, and in one of them we even see him with Mario riding on his back, emulating the cover of Super Mario Galaxy 2. However, the most curious thing is on the back, where there is graffiti with the face of Bowser Jr., a villain who is not confirmed for the film but now looks set to appear.

This leak comes just in time to reignite rumors that Nintendo is about to release the first official trailer for ‘Super Mario Galaxy.' Speculation began when it was reported that this preview would be shown before the screening of Wicked: For Good, which is scheduled to premiere in the United States on November 21.
