An Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree player beat the DLC’s final boss without dodging, blocking, parrying, or drinking flasks.

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree - Impresiones ya lo hemos jugado DLC

Just this week we were talking about how Shadow of the Erdtree, the first and only expansion for FromSoftware’s Elden Ring, brought with it what could possible be considered the hardest, most difficult and punishing boss in the entirety of the studio’s long history. But at least one player saw the challenge presented and said “Boss mechanics? I think you mean ‘boss suggestions’.”

Of course, below you’ll be presented with obvious spoilers for the final boss of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, and since it is extremely significant to the story of both the expansion and the main game, we’d think twice if you wish to go into the game blind.

An Elden Ring player beats the hardest boss in world first “All Hit” run

At the end of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, players are faced against the most powerful version of General Radahn in the lore, Promised Consort Radahn. This is a super-powered version of the character in his absolute prime, emboldened by Miquella himself. So of course, the fight is extremely difficult. Most players get wrecked immediately at the start, while others die over 900 times to try and beat the boss.

Reddit user Recjawjind_fmfb saw the boss, and created a build that allowed them to beat it while tanking every single hit the boss throws at them. “ALL HIT, NO DODGING, NO BLOCKING, NO FLASK”, is how they describe their “ALL HIT run”, basically the opposite of what many streamers have become infamous for attempting to do.

No specific details about the build were shared, but in the video you can see the player entering the fight with dual wielded cross-naginatas and literally taking every single hit throughout the fight, without stopping their attacks for a second. It’s sort of ridiculous to see, but the tactic absolutely worked. One commenter suggests that the build involves using Malenia’s Great Rune and the Godskin Swaddling Cloth to regenerate health while attacking, alongside armor and talismans that buff their damage negation and poise. But nothing has been revealed yet.
