At the time, these promotional cards were given away with every ticket to ‘Pokémon: The First Movie,’ the franchise’s first feature film, which originally premiered in Japan in 1998 and internationally in the following years.
“I finally made it home to finish cleaning out my childhood bedroom and found 29 Ancient Mew cards I totally forgot I had.
