A small bug in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle can lock up your game, but there’s a solution

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has a specific feature that could help save your file from getting stuck.

Indiana Jones y el Gran Círculo

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is an outstanding game. The title developed by MachineGames has received unanimous applause from critics and has finally gone on sale. Indy’s new adventure allows the player to embody the explorer and visit different countries, in which of course he unravels the secrets of the temples and collects all kinds of artifacts and archaeological objects. Like every video game, The title also suffers from the presence of some annoying bugs, even one that can ruin your game completely. Fortunately, the developer has included a feature that helps solve these problems.

The solution to the bug that can ruin your game

During the review period, at a certain point, the inventory stopped working. It was not possible to use the camera or any other object, which in practice meant not being able to complete the game. We tried leaving the area to see if it would be resolved, but nothing we tried up to that point had any effect. The Great Circle has an auto-save system and three different slots to start different games. Since it cannot be saved manually, there is no possibility of choosing different slots, which is a recommended practice, especially in long titles full of variables. However, it does include the option to use previous automatic saves.

In this way, we choose the point of saved immediately before the bug. We checked that everything was fine and so we were able to continue the game normally, although we lost more than half an hour of play: better that than having to start the game again when we were already at the end.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, and Game Pass. The PS5 version will go on sale in spring 2025.
