‘Alien Romulus’ has unveiled the final design of the new Xenomorphs, and it’s terrifying

The newest entry into the Alien series has revealed their Xenomorph design, with Fede Álvarez’ new version of the monster being classic, yet renovated.

Alien Romulus’ is looking so good every time it’s shown that even Ridley Scott spoke up about his regrets with ‘Prometheus’ and ‘Covenant’, which while beloved for their reasons where excuse enough for the studio to hand the franchise to someone else. Now, with the legendary director entirely focused on ‘Gladiator 2′ (which in itself looks amazing), Fede Álvarez has taken the reins of the Alien franchise, and it’s a breath of fresh air.

Now we have confirmed the final design of the Xenomorph, a completely renovated version of the original monster that keeps what makes it work with a sleeker, more terrifying look. With a particularly fibered body, a stronger and more marked tail than ever, and above all, a head injury that looks like a space helmet had been broken on his head letting us glimpse at the alien skull inside, its first images cause nightmares at night.

We have already seen 15 minutes and it’s amazing

Just a few weeks ago we were able to attend a 15-minute screening of the film and our first impressions pointed to a masterpiece. At an event in which we were also able chat with Fede Álvarez, and without going into much more detail about the scenes seen, we do tell you in advance a sequence never seen before in the film saga and capable of leaving all attendees speechless: the “birth” of the xenomorph, that moment in which it goes from its almost embryonic state after being thrown out of the chest of a human host to its adult form. We will see how it occurs, what this process consists of, and what consequences it will have on its victims.

We confirm that the sequence couldn’t be more impressive, and as the director pointed out, justifies the R rating of the film (for the peace of mind of fans and attendees of the event). It was so incredible that we can’t wait to hear your impressions and see the full film when it is released on August 15, 2024.
