Of course, this process can also be done from the consoles themselves. In the case of the PlayStation 5, we will have to go to the PlayStation Store and enter “UFL” as a search term, and in the case of the Xbox Series X, we will have to go to the Microsoft Store and again enter “UFL” as a search term. In both cases we will have to select the one that says “UFL Open Beta.”

In other words, this beta allows you to test UFL for a limited time, the weekend of June 7-9, 2024. This is one of the preliminary steps in which the developers make adjustments to the game’s network code in preparation for the next release, which is expected sometime in 2024.
The origin of UFL and all that is known about it
UFL was first seen in January 2022. It is a free-to-play football video game developed by the company Strikerz Inc. that aims to challenge EA SPORTS FC and eFootball. Perhaps it has more in common with Konami’s title because it wants to follow a F2P monetization model. That is, it is a free video game, but its creators will make money through micropayments of all kinds. It uses Unreal Engine 5, the latest version of the popular engine from Epic Games.
Cristiano Ronaldo, in addition to being an investor - he contributed 40 million dollars to its development - is the main face of this title, although other famous faces of the game, such as De Bruyne or Firmino, have also been seen. Although it does not have the official FIFA licenses, it does have the licenses of some individual clubs (similar to what happens with eFootball), such as the French AS Monaco or the English West Ham United.
It is a video game focused on multiplayer modes in which the matches themselves will not be the only central axis: there will also be all kinds of challenges and missions, a transfer market and the expected equivalent of FIFA/EA SPORTS FC Ultimate Team, where we can create our dream team with the players we want... or that we get.
