Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is one of the most eagerly awaited titles of 2025, a particularly difficult year for the franchise, as competition is fierce this year due to the launch of Battlefield 6. In this article, we break down everything included in the different editions, their prices, where to buy them, and on which platforms they are available. Let’s get started:
On which platforms is Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 available, and when will it be released?
The 2025 installment of Call of Duty is Black Ops 7, and it has been available for purchase since November 14 in both physical and digital formats. This new COD offers Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies modes and, for the first time in its history, cross-progression between its different modes, including the new Endgame.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 continues to be an intergenerational video game. In other words, it is available on both the current and previous generations of consoles, as well as on PC. This title has versions for PC (Battle.net, Steam, and Microsoft Store/Xbox), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
All editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, how much they cost, and what each one includes
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 only has two editions: the Standard Edition and the Vault Edition. The Standard Edition includes the base game and is available in both physical and digital formats, while the Vault Edition is digital only. In both cases, the base game Black Ops 7 and all its modes are included, and as a pre-order bonus, you get the Reznov Challenge Pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone, and Guild Override Weapon Camo.
If we purchase the Standard Edition, we can upgrade to the Archive Edition at any time by making an additional payment of $30 to get the corresponding extras:
- BlackCell (Season 1): Includes Battle Pass, 20 level skips, 1100 CP, and more.
- Operator Collection: 4 Operator skins: Harper, Karma, T.E.D.D., and Reaper EWR-3.
- Mastercraft Collection: 5 Mastercraft weapons.
- Ultra GobbleGum Pack for Zombies: 8 GobbleGums of Ultra rarity.
- Permanent unlock token for Black Ops 7.
It should be noted that in the Xbox and PlayStation versions, there is a single purchase for the PS4-PS5 and Xbox One-Xbox Series X|S versions, as they are multi-generation bundles. This means that if you have a PS4 or Xbox One console, you can play Black Ops 7 and use the same physical or digital copy to continue playing on PS5 (if you have the PS5 version) or Xbox Series X (if you have the Xbox One version).

Another option to play it is by subscribing to Game Pass, either on PC or Xbox consoles. Black Ops 7 will be available on the service on the same day it launches (November 14).
