All the reviews for Silent Hill 2: The best remake in years?
Despite being considered one of the best survival horror games ever made, no one expected this remake from the Bloober team (Layers of Fear, The Medium) to be as good as it is.
The remake of Silent Hill 2 has turned out great, and we highly recommend that you take turns standing in line to apologize to Bloober. The Polish studio has been under fire since Konami announced its choice for a task as complicated as updating one of the best survival horror games in history. The developer has stood up to all the ridicule and criticism it has received (mostly based on its track record: Layers of Fear, Blair Witch, and The Medium), worked quietly, and this October 8th, 2024, when the remake arrives on PS5 and Steam, they will respond with an impeccable title that will be remembered as one of the best of 2024. The question now is whether it will be nominated for a GOTY, like the Resident Evil 2 remake once was.
