Amazon Prime Day July 2024: date, time, and what to expect
Amazon’s biggest deals are just around the corner, as Prime Day 2024 gets a start date for users to start preparing.
To talk about Amazon Prime Day is talking about the day (well, actually there are almost always two) in which the most famous online storefront offers thousands of discounted products and offers, giving users the opportunity to buy everything (televisions, computers, mobile phones, video games, consoles) with these offers that one simply can’t pass up on. Now we finally have a specific date for when this event will take place, and it seems like it’ll be the only one of its kind this year: July 16 and 17!

When is Amazon Prime Day in July 2024?
Amazon Prime Day deals will begin on Tuesday, July 16 at 12:00 AM PT time and end on July 17 at 11:59 PM. In other words, there will be 48 hours of deals.
Below are the start and end times in the United States:
- July 16 at 3:00 AM ET - July 17 at 2:59 PM
- July 16 at 2:00 AM CT - July 17 at 1:59 PM
- July 16 at 12:00 AM PT - July 17 at 11:59 PM
What can we expect from Amazon Prime Day in July 2024?
From back to school essentials to home basics and much more, Amazon Prime Day typically brings with it thousands upon thousands of offers on almost every category of product they have on the platform. Brands like New Balance, HP, Jansport, and Play Doh have already confirmed they’ll have deals on offer up to 40% off for school supplies and fashion, while many more are joining in on the event.
Of course, perhaps you’re part of the users looking for juicier deals, so you can expect all kinds of products ranging from tech like TVs, PC components, headphones, laptops, and more, as well as fashion, kitchen equipment, home decorations and much more.
What does an Amazon Prime subscription cost?
If you want to be prepared for this day of deals, remember that the subscription is $14.99 per month, or $139 per year. There is also a 30-day free trial, which you can use to cover the need to participate in the event. Students can also sign up for a 6-month trial and receive a 50% discount at the end of the trial.
