There are a ton of Star Wars games in development, the most notable of them right now being Star Wars Outlaws, which we saw in action for the first time this past Summer Game Fest and that will arrive in 2024... but it will not be the only one. Amy Hennig, who worked on the Uncharted series during her time with Naughty Dog, is writing and developing a title yet to be revealed, having now brought in a flashy and experienced name back into the galactic saga.

We are talking about Dominic Robilliard, who was the director at the time of Star Wars 1313, a title in which we would have played as a young Boba Fett on his journey through Coruscant, but as we know, it ended up being canceled in 2013.

“I am incredibly excited to share that I am joining Amy Hennig, Julian Beak, and the incredible team at Skydance New Media as their Game Director”, Robilliard said in a post on Linkedin. “To collaborate with such an amazing group of developers, and to play in the iconic worlds of Marvel and Star Wars (again!) is a dream come true. I cannot wait to get started!”

Lots to see in the world of Star Wars

In addition to the previously mentioned titles, there are at least two other games in development set in the Star Wars universe: the already announced remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, the classic RPG from Bioware, and another one also to be confirmed set in the High Republic.

This will be Amy Hennig’s second project after her departure from Naughty Dog, after having held the position of writer in the Visceral Games FPS, Battlefield Hardline. In the former studio, she participated in the development of the first three installments of Uncharted, in addition to Jak 3. Her curriculum also has several works in the Legacy of Kain series, highlighting her work as director and writer in the incredible Soul Reaver for the original PlayStation.
