Ana de Armas shines in the first trailer for ‘Ballerina’, the next movie in the ‘John Wick’ universe
The highly-awaited John Wick spin-off starring Ana de Armas as another assassin out for vengeance, ‘Ballerina’, now has its first trailer.
Although there is still a long wait ahead for its premiere (June 6, 2025), everything indicates that fans have nothing to worry about, because the first trailer for ‘Ballerina’, the new ‘John Wick’ movie which also has Keanu Revees back as the character, has just been released.
With revenge as the main theme, the most anticipated moment comes in the last seconds of the intense trailer, since the figure that everyone wanted to see appears: John Wick, played once again by Keanu Reeves. Lance Reddick also shows up, with ‘Ballerina’ being one of the last projects he worked on before his passing last year, while Norman Reedus also shows up in the trailer as an as-of-yet unknown character.
‘Ballerina’ is a spin-off of the ‘John Wick’ saga, with a story that takes place between ‘John Wick 3: Parabellum’ and ‘John Wick 4′, when the famous assassin (Keanu Reeves) is still recovering after being apparently betrayed by Winston at the end of the third installment. This is a point in the saga where there are some loose ends and the film promises to fill in these gaps by telling an original story.
