Another Silent Hill remake on the way? Bloober Team already working on new game with Konami
The success of Silent Hill 2 motivates both companies to continue working together on other projects.

Following the success of the Silent Hill 2 remake, which sold over two million units in both physical and digital formats in 2024, Polish studio Bloober Team and Konami have announced a new collaboration to develop a game based on an IP from the Japanese company. Although details are scarce at the moment, this agreement strengthens the relationship between the two companies and opens the door to possible new projects within the iconic horror franchise.
In an official statement, Piotr Babieno, CEO of Bloober Team, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration: “Our collaboration with KONAMI has been incredibly fruitful, and the success of SILENT HILL 2 speaks for itself. By sharing knowledge and experience, we have been able to create high-quality production together. Of course, we can’t reveal too many details at this time, but we are confident that fans will be just as excited about our collaboration as we are. We can’t wait to share something truly special with players when the time is right.”
The remake of Silent Hill 2, released in October 2024, was praised by both critics and fans, who celebrated its fidelity to the original title and the technical and visual improvements made by Bloober Team. This success has consolidated the Polish studio as a reference in the horror genre, which has led Konami to entrust them with another project based on one of its most popular franchises. Although it has not been confirmed whether this will be another Silent Hill remake or a new game in the saga’s universe, the news has generated a lot of anticipation among fans.
