Apple unveils the new iPad at the Apple Let Loose event: pricing and availability
After a short presentation, Apple renewed one of its most emblematic devices, the iPad, with a new line designed to continue to stimulate creativity.
Following a live broadcast from Apple Park, the company’s offices in Cupertino, California, the new versions of the iPad were unveiled on the most important day since its announcement, according to Tim Cook, CEO of Apple.
iPad Air (2024)
The new iPad Air will arrive for the first time in 2 models, the traditional 11-inch and now a new 13-inch size, with 13% more screen than the original model. This new version will have a redesign, reducing the bezels and repositioning the camera to be at the top when placed horizontally.
Inside it will feature the M2, with faster GPU, CPU making it 50% faster than its predecessor, as well as allowing adaptive learning.
iPad Air (2024) pricing, storage and availability
The iPad Air (2024) will be available starting at $599 for the 11-inch version and $799 for the 13-inch version, with 128GB, 256GB, and 1TB of storage. Preorder today and ship next week.
iPad Pro (2024)
The iPad Pro (2024) has been completely redesigned and comes in 11-inch and 13-inch models, the latter of which is 5.1 mm thin, making it Apple’s thinnest product ever. This device will be available in Silver and Space Black.
For the first time, its display features an OLED screen that uses two OLED panels to improve brightness, called Tandem OLED. In doing so, Apple takes XDR precision to a new level.
In terms of performance, the iPad Pro debuts the M4, the next step in Apple’s chips, which makes a big leap in performance. This chip is based on 3rd generation 3nm technology. This chip will deliver 4x the performance of the M2 at half the power and 10x the performance of the original iPad Pro.
Final Cut and Logic Pro for iPad have been redesigned to help creators take their creativity to the next level. Rendering in Final Cut Pro is 2x faster. Final Cut Camera, an app for iPhones, will connect to the iPad Pro, allowing up to four cameras to connect directly to Final Cut for new workflows. Logic Pro will offer more control over music, including the ability to separate audio channels.
Cameras
The rear camera will have 12 MP, a LiDAR scanner and an Adaptice True Tone flash. The front camera will also move to the side, just like on the iPad Air.

The iPad Pro (2024) will start at $999 for the 11-inch version and $1299 for the 13-inch version, with storage ranging from 256 GB to 2TB. The Apple Pencil Pro will be available for $129, while the Magic Keyboard will have $299 and $349 versions. Pre-order today for delivery next week.
