Assassin’s Creed Shadows delayed again and doubts grow, although you will only have to wait a few more weeks

It was supposed to be released in 2024, but Ubisoft changed the date to next February. Now, after another delay, we will have to wait a little longer than expected.

Bad news for those hoping to play one of the most anticipated video games of 2025 soon, as Ubisoft has just confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been delayed once again. The title was supposed to debut last year, but a series of problems resulted in the new date being set for Valentine’s Day (February 14). However, the French company has finally decided to push it back to March 20, 2025, so we will have to wait a little longer.

Ubisoft says that the new delay is due to the fact that they want to continue polishing the game to offer the best possible experience from the day of its launch, taking advantage of the feedback of the players. Apart from the official message, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier believes that the delay could respond to everything related to the hypothetical sale of the company.

Anyway, the problems of Assassin’s Creed Shadows go back a long way, as the first of its delays was directly related to the commercial stumble of Star Wars Outlaws.
