Avowed reveals more about the fantasy world and how deep this RPG will be

Obsidian Entertainment gives us a good look at what they have in store and shows off some gameplay from their new RPG.

Update:

We can’t deny it, Avowed was one of the titles we were expecting to see at this presentation. We already had some gameplay a few months ago, and it was time to see more of this title. Obisdian Entertainment put on long tablecloths to present what they do best, an RPG that will captivate fans and be talked about for years to come. It won’t be long before we get our hands on this title that will take us to a world of fantasy, which is in development for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC, all releasing this 2024.

Avowed works on Unreal Engine 5.3

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 has surprised by the use that Ninja Theory has given to Unreal Engine 5, an engine that also makes use of Avowed. According to Jez Corden, the game has been updated to run on version 5.3, so a leap like the one seen in the trailer was already expected. Like most of Microsoft’s current projects, Obsidian has avoided the previous generation of consoles.

Obsidian Entertainment’s last three games have won over critics around the world. In addition to the fantastic Pillars of Eternity 2, the creators of Fallout: New Vegas won over gamers with The Outer Worlds, a game published by Private Division. In true Fallout style, the script splashes words with political satire and covers them with a striking space setting. The studio is working on a sequel, about which we know very little. On the other hand, and not to be outdone by the narrative component, Obsidian has released Pentiment, an adventure that oozes talent on all four sides.
