Aya Cash teases that the scripts for ‘The Boys’ prequel series are “insanely good”

The actress behind Stormfront in ‘The Boys’ shared her excitement for the scripts of the upcoming prequel series, ‘Vought Rising’.

The success of ‘The Boys’ has allowed the license to expand with other series that derive from the core show. Last year we saw ‘Gen V’, but more interesting stories are on the way, including ‘Vought Rising’. The prequel will take us to explore some of the key events that occurred in the ‘50s, when the superhero boom began. One of the protagonists has read the script and shared her excitement for what’s to come.

“I’ve read two scripts and they’re absolutely insanely good. But that’s about all I can tell you,” explained Aya Cash, the actress who played Stormfront in the main series, in an interview with ComicBook. When she was asked about shooting for the series, she simply answered that they still don’t know when filming will start. It is clear that there are still many months before we can see it become part of the Prime Video catalog.

What is ‘Vought Rising’ about?

Vought Rising’ will explore the first group of heroes to be given Compound V. The starring role will be divided between Soldier Boy and Stormfront, two of the key faces of the parent series and who, in the case of the Nazi superheroine, were killed during the second season.

We will learn in greater depth the origins of the Vought corporation and how they turned children into walking weapons of destruction. From laboratories to being on the front page of newspapers and the central image of the new United States. At the moment its release window has not been revealed, unlike what happens with the fifth and final season of ‘The Boys’, scheduled for 2026.
