Blasphemous 2 announces Mea Culpa, its first DLC: trailer, release date, price…

Blasphemous 2 is one of the most acclaimed Metroidvanias of recent years, and if you thought that the adventure—or the torture—of the Penitent One was over, nothing could be further from the truth, as developer The Game Kitchen has just announced its first DLC: Mea Culpa. This is a generous expansion that will add a new story about the cursed sword the player carried in the original 2019 title.

Both the Mea Culpa DLC (priced at $11.99) and the new free update will arrive on October 31, 2024. This update adds important new features such as a New Game Plus+ mode. Previously unseen areas, new achievements and trophies, brand new enemies, and various improvements that are yet to be revealed.

Blasphemous 2 is available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store).
