BlizzCon 2026 announces presale dates for passes, and it’s sooner than you think
The company confirms the first details of the event, including presales and activities that will mark its return.
It’s been two years since the last BlizzCon, held in 2023. Following an announcement last year, we now have our sights set on BlizzCon 2026, which will take place in September of that year. And although there are still 10 months to go, Blizzard wants the community to be ready for the event by announcing the pre-sale dates for next year’s passes.
When will BlizzCon Passes 2026 go on sale?
Pre-sale for BlizzCon Passes 2026 will be available for a limited time at a special early-bird price. Interested parties can secure their spot from Friday, November 7, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. PST through Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. PST. Those who miss out on the presale will have a second chance, as regular-price passes will go on sale on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. PST. Passes will be purchased through Tixr, so the company recommends that attendees create their accounts in advance. The BlizzCon Pass includes full access to both days of the event and will grant pass holders in-game gifts and exclusive BlizzCon commemorative items.
What to expect from BlizzCon 2026?
Along with this announcement, Blizzard revealed some of the activities that will be part of next year’s celebration.
- The Opening Ceremony will return to Hall D, where Blizzard will reveal what’s new for the coming months.
- The Anaheim Convention Center will once again host the Blizzard Arcade, featuring games from past and present, as well as talks on the main stage.
- Community Night, one of the most anticipated events—with its traditional cosplay catwalk—is also back.
- Esports will have a prominent presence, with tournaments such as the Overwatch World Cup, the Arena World Championship, and World of Warcraft’s Mythic Dungeon International, the Hearthstone Masters Tour World Championship, and the inaugural Blizzard Classic Cup.
- The BlizzCon Store has been completely redesigned, offering a walk-through shopping experience or an in-store pickup system for pre-orders.
- The Darkmoon Faire will also return, with exclusive items, limited-edition pins, plushies, and more. In addition, this year will feature a special nighttime experience: a three-hour event on Saturday night that will allow visitors to visit the fair outside of regular hours.

Many details remain to be revealed—such as whether the traditional closing concert will return—but for now, the date is set: BlizzCon 2026 will be held on September 12 and 13, 2026, at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
