Bloober Team drops a hint about its exclusive game for Nintendo Switch 2, and fans are sure: could it be the remake they’ve been dreaming of?

After the successful Silent Hill 2 Remake, the Polish studio is ready to win over horror lovers once again.

Several months ago, it was confirmed that Bloober Team is working on Project M, a new project that will result in an exclusive video game for Nintendo Switch 2. We won’t have to wait much longer to find out more details, as the Polish studio has created a website with a countdown timer set for mid-February 2026, which is when the title will be revealed.

Meanwhile, the studio’s official account on X has shared a message that has left no one indifferent: “Dare to peek into the darkness...” This phrase has led fans of Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem to believe that it is a nod to the game that amazed horror lovers on GameCube, as the first thing we saw when we launched the game was a screen displaying a very similar quote from Edgar Allan Poe. So, some people’s theory is clear: is Bloober Team working on Eternal Darkness Remake?

It doesn’t seem like the most plausible theory, since we mustn’t forget that the study mentioned some time ago that Project M was intended for fans of Eternal Darkness itself, but also of Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and even Limbo. However, nowhere on the countdown website is there any reference to the aforementioned Project M, so some people think that there could be something more to it than that...
