Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta - When does it end, How to Sign Up, Difference Between Early Access and Open Beta

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to release in only a few months, so Activision has gone ahead and announced when its promised multiplayer open beta will take place, and unlike other iterations of their tests, this time it’s actually going to be available for absolutely everyone.

The Black Ops 6 Open Beta reveals its dates

According to the official announcement on the franchise’s website, the Black Ops 6 multiplayer open beta begins at 10 am PST/1 pm EST on September 6, and it’ll be available for players to access for three days, until September 9. The beta will be accessible for everyone regardless of platform, which is a first for the series as previously these kinds of tests would be limited to a single console platform while everyone else had to wait.

However, the game will also have an “early access” to the beta, which will take place one full week before the actual open beta from August 30 to September 4 at the exact same times. This testing period will only be available for players who have already pre-ordered the game, but just as with the open version, access won’t be limited to a single platform: whether you’re playing on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, or PC, you’ll be able to join the test only two days after the upcoming Call of Duty NEXT event.

What to expect from the Call of Duty : Black Ops 6 Open Beta?

According to Activision themselves, the Open Beta and Early Access periods will let players experience their flagship “Omnimovement” mechanics that bring huge changes in mobility to the title like never before. Players will now be able to sprint in every direction, with much more freedom when it comes to aiming, shooting, diving, and more. During the beta, there will be a variety of brand-new maps for the multiplayer mode built by Treyarch, as well as the ability to create your own loadouts, test out the game’s new weapons, equipment, and perks, and try some different modes.

Furthermore, players who have pre-ordered the Vault Edition should expect to play as any of the four Operators from the Hunters vs. Hunted Operator Pack (Park, Adler, Brutus, or Klaus), as well as being able to test out any of the five weapons from the Mastercraft Weapon Collection.
