Nuketown is probably the most famous map in the history of Call of Duty, at least when talking about the classic multiplayer mode. However, its absence during the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, has raised many questions. However, there’s no need to worry, as the multiplayer map arrives very soon Black Ops 6: it will be available from Friday, November 1, 2024.

As Activision itself has revealed on the official Call of Duty channels, the Nuketown multiplayer map will be available in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 starting 11/01/2024. Below you have the official trailer for this classic scenario of the game’s competitive modes:

On this occasion, the return of Nuketown presents a full-fledged return to its origins. Its setting and aesthetics are that of the 50s, just as it happened in the first version of the map in the original Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010). This is in stark contrast to the fact that with each new version of Nuketown in Treyarch’s Call of Duty games, its design was adjusted to align with the overall tone and era of the video game. For example, in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 it was Nuketown 2025, a map set in the then-future 2025, and one of the two timelines in which the plot took place.

In any case, the return of Nuketown is something to celebrate, as it is one of the most emblematic maps of the franchise, and possibly the most famous of them all. The players of the most recent installment of the Call of Duty saga already have a date marked on their calendars, so all they have to do is wait for the appointed day to unleash all the madness and a storm of bullets in this beloved location again. It is also a golden opportunity to put into practice the new omnimovement mechanics of Black Ops 6, hence The games will be more intense than ever.
