Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone launch Season 2 with a colossal offensive
New maps, competitive modes, and narrative expansions will arrive on February 5 to redefine the Black Ops experience.

Call of Duty is preparing a massive content rollout with the arrival of Season 2 of Black Ops 7 and Warzone. Starting February 5, players will face a wide range of new features spanning all game modes: from the intensification of the conflict against The Guild in Endgame, to narrative expansions in Zombies, new and remastered maps in multiplayer, and a winter transformation of Rebirth Island in Warzone.
Endgame: Guild Strikes and Nightmare Zones
In Endgame, Guild Strikes turn areas of Avalon into Nightmare Zones, with more aggressive enemies and a final boss that grants high-level rewards. New abilities such as Sentinel Protocol and Blood Burner expand strategic options, while the mid-season update will add off-map events and the Exotic Fabricator system, designed to upgrade weapons to exotic rarity.
Multiplayer is reinforced with nine maps, including Torment, Sake, Nexus, and the return of Slums. Mid-season additions include Torque, Cliff Town, Mission: Peak, and classics such as Grind and Firing Range. Competitive modes return with modern twists and the 4v4 Matchmaking system under CDL rules, offering exclusive rewards for those who achieve the 50 wins required to access them.
In Zombies, the action moves to Mars, with an ancient temple hidden beneath the sands of the red planet, while Paradox Junction will continue the narrative after Astra Malorum. New modes such as Cursed Survival and the return of Starting Room will test players’ endurance.

Warzone, meanwhile, gets a complete makeover with the arrival of winter on Rebirth Island, new mechanics such as footprints in the snow and freezing gas storms, as well as the debut of the Avalon map in Battle Royale mode.
