Update:

Despite a rocky launch, Activision has gone to great lengths to redeem the image of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and Season 2.5 Reloaded is perhaps the best example of this, as it also brings a completely new mode and map to Warzone in Black Ops Royale.

Inspired by Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode, Black Ops Royale is essentially a return to the origins of Battle Royale mode in Call of Duty, where there were no loadouts, Gulag, or buy stations. One hundred players start with the same equipment and have to upgrade their weapons the old-fashioned way: by searching. That said, it should be noted that the style of play is imported, but not the map, which here will be Avalon, the central setting of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

In any case, the arrival of Black Ops Royale shakes the foundations of Warzone, which had been struggling with a certain stagnation lately. We’ll see if this serves as the spark that injects new life into the mode.

Multiplayer and Zombies content expansion

Best of all, Warzone and the rest of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 modes—except for the campaign—are getting new content, including five new multiplayer maps, a new round-based survival map for Zombies (Paradox Junction), more intense challenges, and innovative mechanics in Endgame, which also receives the Exotic Fabricator to convert weapons into Exotics, enhancing them with damage, bonuses, and special effects.

Added to this are weapons, modes, point streaks, accessories, enemies, features, gobblegums, and events spread across all the game formats that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has to offer. And of course, there are the bundles in the store, which, while showing the more commercial side of the game, don’t skimp on style.
