Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches Season 1 with a wealth of multiplayer content
Revamped multiplayer with maps, modes, point streaks, and much more are coming to the popular FPS today.

Perhaps the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 wasn’t what many expected, but people certainly don’t buy it for its story, and it’s in multiplayer where fans have found their place. So it’s no surprise that Activision has already announced details of the first season of Black Ops 7.
Season 1 kicked off this Thursday and will add content to all modes, including Endgame, the new cooperative mode in Black Ops 7, which will allow players to deploy in Avalon with new global events and abilities. But of course, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Four new maps will be added to the competitive rotation at the start of the season. Then comes the Christmas version of Hijacked, before CODMAS; while Yakei, Meltdown, and Fringe will follow later.
The modes are not far behind with lively alternatives such as Prop Hunt, Gun Game, Sharpshooter, and Sticks & Stones; the new Takeover mode mid-season; and there will also be limited-time modes such as Holiday Havoc and Snowfight.
Activision and Treyarch know that some players prefer Zombies, and there’s plenty on offer there too. The main attraction will be the new Astra Malorum map, accompanied by alternative modes that will test your endurance and strategy.
And Warzone is not far behind with the new Haven’s Hollow Resurgence map, updates to Verdansk, and an expanded offering of weapons, perks, and equipment for players to find more tactical and strategic options. In addition, Season 1 will see the return of Polaris vehicles and CODMAS holiday events.
Battle Pass and BlackCell
For those who like to invest and invest seriously in Call of Duty, season after season, the traditional Battle Pass is also here with up to 1,100 COD Points, 11 Operator skins, 26 weapons and blueprints, and 119 total rewards.
There was much talk this year about the rivalry between Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, but the launch of both games was just the first round in a story that will unfold throughout the year, with the goal of keeping players hooked.
