Call of Duty confirms that its most controversial weapon will not be in Black Ops 6
One of the most controversial items in the Call of Duty catalog ends its years of terror among fans and hardcore fans of the series.
‘Call of Duty Black Ops 6′ is just around the corner, arriving later this week. Everyone is getting ready for the arrival of a title that, whether we like it or not, is always one of the most awaited and most purchased by the community. Now, returning to the world of Black Ops and with several new features in its gameplay such as the omnimovement, we can only wait to see how the community will receive this new installment.
Among the most important changes is a recent announcement by Treyarch through a publication on the official blog. It has published the list of weapons confirmed for Black Ops 6 at launch, among which the Riot Shield, one of the most controversial items in the franchise, will not be available.
Why is the Riot Shield controversial in Call of Duty?
In a first-person shooter, anything goes to survive, but the Riot Shield has become a controversial item in the community. This item, which can replace the main weapon, helps to deflect bullets and in certain strategies can become a real terror for the players of the opposing teams. In previous games where it has appeared, some of the community has asked for it to be nerfed or even removed from the game altogether. For its part, Treyarch has never been a fan of this item, considering that the only game developed by this studio that has had it is ‘Black Ops 2′ of 2012.
‘Call of Duty Black Ops 6′ will be released on October 25th. Here you can check the editions it will have, the requirements for the PC version, all the multiplayer maps that will arrive at launch, as well as the duration of the campaign.
