Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 confirms Xbox Game Pass arrival date

Activision’s latest shooter title takes the place of Black Ops 6 as the first Call of Duty on Game Pass.

The reports turned out to be true and Xbox has made it official, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is coming to Xbox Game Pass and it’s coming much sooner than you might think.

Through a post on X (formerly Twitter), Xbox made use of several of their IPs and some guests to anwser the Call of Duty... (pun totally intended) to Xbox Game Pass. With this, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will hit subscribers next July 24, completely coinciding with the aforementioned dates.

This Game Pass version will be a complete edition, including campaign, multiplayer and zombies, so you can expect the full gameplay experience if you are a subscriber to Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate.

This makes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 the first title in the franchise to arrive on the Xbox subscription service since the company bought Activision Blizzard in a long process. It is worth remembering that also the next title in the franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, will be a Day 1 title on the service when its premiere arrives. Also, given that every entry in the series since Modern Warfare 2 (2022) is released as part of Call of Duty HQ, it was an open secret that older games would eventually be made available as part of the integration. We just didn’t expect it to happen so soon, or so suddenly.
