Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 leak reveals official logo art and return of three beloved characters

Activision has already confirmed a leak related to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the next delivery that will occupy the premium position of the franchise at the end of this year. Now a new leak caused by a campaign with Monster, the energy drink brand, has happened: the marketing materials for a collaboration display the official logo of the game along with the return of several of the key characters that star in the reboot of the trilogy.

As you can see in the tweet below this paragraph, red is taking over as the predominant color in the game. Captain Price is featured front and center in the publicity for the game, in front of what appears to be Soap’s face. Both characters will apparently monopolize the spotlight during the campaign, although Ghost also appears on the can of the well-known energy drink. Will Soap have the same fate as in the original version of the game? We will have to wait to find out.

When will Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 be released?

We won’t have to wait long for the official presentation of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. As it happened with Black Ops Cold War, Warzone will be the stage where players will be able to get the first details of the reveal. It’s expected to happen upon arrival of Season 5 of the battle royale and Modern Warfare 2, which should be sometime in mid-August.

Previously, it was announced that this upcoming title will have a feature that has never been present in the franchise: For the first time ever you’ll be able to carry your progress from the previous Call of Duty to the new one. By progress we mean Operators, weapons, and cosmetic packs you acquired in Modern Warfare 2. The Alpha version of the game is also known to feature a brand new perk system that will trade abilities for four sections of your soldier’s loadout.
