Call of Duty Warzone: Mobile has been delayed, and won’t arrive this year

One of the most anticipated games for mobile devices this 2023 is Call of Duty Warzone: Mobile, but sadly, it will no longer arrive this year and we will have to wait until next spring as announced by Activision. 2024 will see its arrival to Android and iOS of what is considered one of the most intense multiplayer experiences on the market that brings together up to 120 players. The game is being developed by Activision Shanghai, Beenox, Digital Legends and Solid State Studios.

Activision announced that over 45 million users pre-registered for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. A sign of the enormous expectation that many have to enjoy the game on their mobile phones, a title that will include the Verdansk map, as well as Rebirth Island. The studio has made the new launch date official in the presentation video of this map.

The Call of Duty Warzone experience anywhere

One of the most popular battle royales on the planet and its long-awaited mobile version. Activision highlights Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile as “a comprehensive Call of Duty experience ready to redefine the battle royale genre for those who want to play anywhere.” Along with the online game with 120 players, Warzone Mobile will also offer a more classic multiplayer aspect with game modes such as Domination and Team Duel, seeking to give players more possibilities to raise the level of their weapons.

Beyond its mobile version, Warzone seeks to renew itself ahead of the launch of the first season alongside Modern Warfare 3. Notable new features include a new map that focuses on a prominent setting in the history of the trilogy. Urzikstan, the fictional country of the saga, will be a new territory in the popular battle royale.
