Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Announced, Bringing Back 8 Great Titles and Crossovers

One of the big surprises of today’s Nintendo Direct was the presence of Capcom with Capcom Fighting Collection 2, a new compilation of games that will make us play as if it were the beginning of this millennium. Capcom vs SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001, Power Stone, Power Stone 2, Project Justice and more. You can check out the announcement trailer below:

What games are included in the Capcom Fighting Collection 2

These are the 8 games included in the Capcom Fighting Collection 2:

  • Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro
  • Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001
  • Capcom Fighting Evolution
  • Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER
  • Project Justice
  • Power Stone
  • Power Stone 2
  • Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein

As you would expect from this type of collection, the game will come with an art gallery and music player, as well as other extra features such as a training mode or even the ability to save mid-game. Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is expected to be released sometime in 2025 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam.

Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Official physical and digital release date

Another point shown in today’s Nintendo Direct is that Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection already has a release date. This title, which compiles the first part of the great crossovers of Capcom and Marvel fighting games, will be released in its digital version on September 12, with pre-sales starting today. On the other hand, the physical version also has a release date of November 22nd.
