Captain America: Brave New World’ had its own panel at the recent Marvel Studios event as part of San Diego Comic-Con 2024, featuring its main stars on stage alongside Kevin Feige, President of the company. And it seems like famous actor Harrison Ford, who plays General Ross after the death of its original actor in the MCU, William Hurt, didn’t want to miss out on the party, making an appearance on stage, where he went wild roaring like the Red Hulk, the bestial alter ego of his character in the upcoming movie.

Harrison Ford unleashed at San Diego Comic-Con

Marvel had several surprises prepared for this edition of the SDCC, such as the revelation of the resounding return of Robert Downey Jr. to the MCU, this time, as Doctor Doom in ‘Avengers Doomsday’ in 2026, and confirmation that the Russo brothers will be in charge of directing the next two ‘Avengers’ films. But Feige had another ace up his sleeve: during the ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ panel, Harrison Ford, the famous actor who has given us roles as iconic as those of Han Solo in ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Indiana Jones’, made a surprise appearance.

Harrison Ford ran on stage with his cast colleagues Anthony Mackie, Tim Blake Nelson, Danny Ramirez, and Giancarlo Esposito, and the head of the MCU, Kevin Feige. And at 82 years old, the actor did not hesitate to the great applause of the general public. Neither quick nor lazy, Ford began to roar and gesticulate as if he was the Red Hulk, which we could already see briefly in the first trailer for ‘Captain America: Brave New World’, which premiered a few weeks ago.

After his vibrant entrance to the stage, Ford assured, microphone in hand, that he is delighted and proud to become a member of the Marvel Universe. “I’ve been watching fantastic actors having a good time and I said: ‘I want some of that’”. ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 14, 2025.
