‘Captain America 4′: The MCU's new Falcon suit leaked in all its glory
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ will introduce us to many new characters, including Sam Wilson’s successor as Cap’s squire.
‘Captain America: Brave New World’, the new installment of Captain America’s adventures, now under the mantle of Sam Wilson after the events of ‘Avengers Endgame’ and his own series ‘Falcon and the Winter Soldier’, will introduce us to new characters never before seen in the MCU, among them General Ross’ Red Hulk - now played by Harrison Ford - or the new Falcon, a role vacated after Anthony Mackie’s new role in the MCU. Now, after the first leaks, we have our first clear look at the new Falcon’s suit, and it’s more comic book than ever!
This is the new Falcon by Joaquin Torres
So, after taking Cap’s shield in ‘Falcon and the Winter Soldier,’ Sam Wilson left Falcon’s position vacant; until now. As hinted at in the Disney+ fiction, Sam’s colleague, Joaquin Torres, had all the cards to take over as Cap’s faithful squire. So much so that in ‘Captain America: Brave New World,’ the character played by Danny Ramirez will play the role of the new Falcon, just as he did in Marvel Comics.
And how could it be otherwise, this new version of Falcon will also release his own suit, whose live-action adaptation promises to be very faithful to that of the comics, as we can see in the new promotional arts of the character, leaked by McDonald’s as part of an upcoming advertising campaign.
As you can see in the leaked images, the new Falcon will opt for greenish and orange tones as in the comics, as well as a suit with much of the torso covered in armor plates, a helmet with a wedge visor - as if it were the head of a hawk - and metal wings, all to propel Joaquin Torres through the air at full speed.
We also get a new look at Sam Wilson’s new Captain America suit, which features the shield inherited from Steve Rogers himself. The movie ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ will be released on February 14, 2025.
