CES 2025: The 5 most interesting projects at CES Unveiled

From glasses to vests, here are the most interesting and curious things to see at CES Unveiled 2025.

CES Unveiled, the eve of the Consumer Electronics Show conferences, gives us a glimpse of what to expect during the days of the event at the Las Vegas Convention Center. As well as the big companies that will be making presentations on Monday, we also see smaller companies, some start-ups and projects that have gone from university projects to being fully funded. On this occasion, we present the five projects that caught our attention and demonstrate the different uses of the technology.

Captify

As the wearables market develops, one of the most interesting projects is Captify. This is a pair of glasses that subtitles what you hear. Designed for people with hearing problems, the glasses project what the other person is saying in a variety of languages. The team behind the product is launching its Kickstarter campaign this week.

Aurzen ZIP

Projectors have become smaller without sacrificing quality, and the Aurzen ZIP is a device that stands out for its design. This projector is portable and can be folded and carried like a folding smartphone. With a brightness of 1000 lumens, its own laser calibration and a wireless connection for the content to be projected, it is an eye-catching device.

Jennie

Jennie is a robot dog from Tombot, but she is different from the others because she is designed to provide companionship to people with mental health problems who cannot have a pet, such as dementia, depression, anxiety or stress. Jennie responds to voice commands and external sounds, reacts to being petted and much more.

TactSuit

We can’t ignore gaming. At CES Unveiled, we had the opportunity to try out bHaptic’s TactSuit, a haptic vest with wristbands that allows you to feel everything that happens in a video game with high fidelity, thanks to more than 30 feedback points. Compatible with Meta Quest, PlayStation VR 2 and Steam titles.

LiberLife C1

The first smart guitar without strings. This project reminds us of Guitar Hero and Rock Band, but is closer to Rocksmith. This device allows us to connect it to our smartphone to learn to play as if it were a real guitar, with tracks and notes, and also to connect it as if it were a karaoke machine.
