CES 2026: ASUS redefines the modern laptop at CES with AI, battery life, and extreme designs
From creative tablets to executive devices, its commitment goes beyond specifications.

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) once again shows us not only the near future—and also the more distant future—filled with robots and artificial intelligence, but also the products that will arrive throughout the year. For everyday use, whether you’re a student, office worker, content creator, or someone looking for special devices, ASUS stood out this year for the proposals it presented. What the company has put on the table goes far beyond a simple update of technical specifications: it is a line of devices designed to cover virtually every niche.
After an early visit to their booth, we present how this new technology will truly impact your daily life, analyzing some of the crown jewels that will hit stores in 2026.
ProArt: raw power in impossible formats
For content creators, mobility used to be synonymous with compromise: you either had portability or you had power. The new ProArt family seeks to completely eliminate that barrier.
The centerpiece of this strategy is the ASUS ProArt PZ14. This tablet for creators is a surprisingly powerful option. Its design is deceptively light, with a machined aluminum unibody weighing just 0.79 kg and measuring 9 mm thick. However, inside it houses an 18-core Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. What’s truly remarkable is its NPU (Neural Processing Unit), capable of reaching up to 80 TOPS, allowing it to handle workflows that previously required a desktop tower.

For creative users, this means they can use Copilot+ PC tools and exclusive ASUS Creator apps to generate, edit, and render seamlessly, no matter where they are. Everything is displayed on an ASUS Lumina Pro OLED screen, with color fidelity designed for professional work. In addition, its MIL-STD-810H military certification and IP52 protection ensure that it can withstand dust and splashes outdoors.
On the other hand, ASUS surprised everyone with a very specific collaboration: the ProArt GoPro Edition. This 13-inch convertible targets a very clear niche: action creators. Powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chip and supporting up to 128 GB of unified memory, it is shaping up to be a real beast for video editing.
Full integration with the action camera ecosystem. Includes a dedicated GoPro key and StoryCube software, the first Windows application that unifies GoPro cloud media and 360° videos, organizing them intelligently. With a 360-degree hinge and a physical ASUS DialPad, it allows for precise editing right where the action happens.

Zenbook: exotic materials and battery life that lets you forget your charger
The Zenbook family has always been synonymous with style, but looking ahead to 2026, innovation goes beyond aesthetics, seeking to solve one of the biggest concerns for mobile users: battery life.
The ASUS Zenbook A16 introduces Ceraluminum, an exclusive high-tech material that combines the warmth and premium texture of ceramic with the structural strength of aluminum. This chassis is not only durable and wear-resistant, but also incorporates Smudge-Free technology to keep the device looking pristine. Under the hood, the Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme processor and 16-inch 3K OLED display offer a solid balance between multimedia consumption and demanding productivity.

However, if absolute freedom is the priority, the ASUS Zenbook A14 is the answer. Weighing less than 1 kg, it is particularly impressive for its battery life, promising up to 35 hours of offline video playback. This is a game changer for both travelers and students, allowing for several days of work without having to search for a power outlet.
Finally, the ASUS Zenbook DUO has perfected its dual-screen design. One of the common criticisms of this format was the visual interruption between panels; ASUS has reduced this space by 70% thanks to a new hinge, creating an almost seamless experience between its two 14-inch ASUS Lumina Pro OLED screens. Powered by Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3 processors and Intel Arc graphics, this machine offers true multitasking, allowing you to work with references on one screen and main content on the other, without compromise.

ExpertBook Ultra and ExpertBook G2: the modern office, redefined
In the professional sector, ASUS has divided its strategy into two well-defined fronts: executive excellence and durability for the general workforce.
The ASUS ExpertBook Ultra is positioned as the standard for executives. Its magnesium-lithium alloy chassis, treated with Nano Ceramic technology, weighs just 0.99 kg without compromising robustness. Equipped with Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3 processors and a dedicated NPU, it is designed to take full advantage of Copilot+ PC security and productivity features, along with a cooling system capable of dissipating up to 50W of heat and ASUS ExpertGuardian security features, including secure core and advanced biometrics. It is a machine designed for those who cannot afford a second of downtime or a security breach.

The big news for SMEs and corporations, however, is the new ASUS ExpertBook G2 line. This series democratizes premium features for the bulk of workers. For the first time, the commercial line incorporates OLED screens, reducing eye strain thanks to better contrast levels. The most notable feature of the ExpertBook G2 is its resistance to daily use: in addition to military-grade certifications and 180-degree hinges, it can withstand liquid spills of up to 250 milliliters, whether ice water or hot coffee. This means that an accident at your desk no longer means losing a day’s work.
