CES 2026: Hisense revolutionizes color with its new line of RGB MiniLED TVs
The technology firm expands its advanced color architecture to more models and sizes, democratizing high-end image quality for all users.

During CES 2026, Chinese brand Hisense reaffirmed its position as an industry leader by unveiling its most ambitious development to date: RGB MiniLED televisions. With this line, the company has not only perfected its flagship technology, but also made it available in more affordable models, ensuring that color accuracy is no longer a luxury reserved for the few.
This new offering is divided into two main areas. On the one hand, there is the 116UXS model, a screen that pushes the limits of what we thought was possible in a panel. On the other, there are the UR9 and UR8 series, designed specifically to bring this visual experience to living rooms of all sizes, from 55 to 100 inches.
What makes RGB MiniLED evo technology special?
The big news this year is the RGB MiniLED evo system, featured in the 116UXS model. Unlike traditional TVs, this architecture uses four primary colors by adding cyan to the classic mix of red, green, and blue.
This translates into a much more natural image. The human eye is very sensitive to cyan tones, and their inclusion allows gradients in the sky, sea, or people’s faces to be seen without artificial cuts or saturation. It’s an improvement that is noticeable in everyday use, whether watching a movie, a soccer game, or playing our favorite console game.

How does this innovation benefit Smart TVs?
With the UR8 and UR9 series, the company brings professional color performance to real homes with varying budgets.
- More vivid colors: Thanks to cleaner tone separation, colors do not “bleed” into each other.
- Visibility anywhere: These panels are designed to maintain image fidelity even in rooms with lots of natural light.
- Extreme fluidity: The Hi-View AI Engine processor manages thousands of lighting zones so there is no trace of blurry shadows in action scenes.

When and where will we be able to see these screens?
The rollout of these units will begin later this year. The 116UXS model stands out not only for its 116-inch panel, but also for its ultra-slim design of just 1.57 inches and a sound system by Devialet, ensuring that the audio experience matches the visual experience.
