CoD Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 2 are bringing zombies to multiplayer and much more
A new season is coming to Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare III, and it’s bringing the undead in more ways than one to the multiplayer and battle royale.
Season 2 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone is releasing very soon, and while we knew some details about what to expect this time around, a new trailer has shown off some of the biggest features coming to the games on February 7, 2024.
This first trailer for Season 2 showcases some of the new features players can expect when jumping into the game after the update, including three new 6v6 maps (Stash House, Vista, and Departures), the arrival of guest skins from The Walking Dead (Rick Grimes and Michonne), and an all-new gameplay mode called Hordepoint.
Below you’ll find a quick recap of everything you can expect to see when Season 2 launches, but Hordepoint will probably be one of the most popular features coming to the game next week. In this variant of Hardpoint, neither team in the map will be safe from hordes of bloodthirsty zombies that will constantly put pressure on the players, regardless of what team they’re on. The mode returns from Call of Duty: WWII, with the CoD Zombies mode spilling into the rest of the franchise with special zombies, horde portals, and more chaos in this “capture-the-point” style mode.
