As if it weren’t already confusing enough that it is called the same as another game from 2011, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has several release dates depending on the version of the title that we have purchased. Therefore, to clarify the issue, at MeriStation we are going to review what needs to be done to enjoy the campaign, zombies mode, and multiplayer ahead of time which is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated shooters of the year.
How to play the Modern Warfare 3 campaign before launch
You won’t like the answer. To play before the official launch (scheduled for November 10, 2023), what you should have done is buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in digital version. If you have it in physical format, we are very afraid that you will have to wait. Now, for those who used the PS Store, Microsoft Store, or Steam to purchase the title, access dates change based on game content.
- The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 campaign can be downloaded from November 1st starting at 10:00 a.m. PT, and it can be played starting November 2 at 10:00 a.m. PT.
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer and zombies mode can be downloaded starting November 8 at 9:00 a.m. PT, and you can start playing on November 9 at 10:00 a.m. PT on consoles and 5:00 p.m. PT on PC.
