CoD Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 3: dates, times, content…
We’ll tell you everything you need to know about all of the new things coming to Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2′s new season.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 are on the brink of a new content framework. Season 3 in both games will begin this April 12. Under the title “Aynone’s game”, Infinity Ward has quite a lot of news for players of DMZ and competitive multiplayer.
CoD Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2: the most outstanding content of Season 3
As we said, users of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are the most benefited from this escalation of content. From the first day, we will have access to four maps, two for 6 vs 6 (Pelayo’s Lighthouse and Black Gold) and another two for Ground War modes(Rohan Oil and Sattiq Cave Complex). There will be a third for Core combat coming during the mid-season reinforcements, called the Alboran Hatchery.
One of the biggest novelties of the 2019 delivery was Gunfight, a high-intensity mode that pitted two teams of two players against each other in smaller sandboxes compared to the rest of the multiplayer offering. As of April 12, it will be added to the sequel with a grid of four maps: Blacksite, Exhibit, Shipment, and Alley. In the middle of the season, a variant will be added in which you will have to pick up the equipment around the stage, instead of being randomly given one at the beginning of each round. On the other hand, an unprecedented cooperative mission and the expected third episode of the raid mode will follow in the same round.
Warzone 2.0 receives updates seen both in the original version and in other aspects within this second part. Redeployment drones seen on Ashika Island will depart for Al Mazrah in order to change location faster than on foot or by vehicle. You’ll also see the arrival of the Tempered Plate Carriers variant, which allows you to complete your armor with just two units. In DMZ you will be fed with the famous UAV towers, with which you can interact to reveal the position of the enemies around you, in addition to the decontamination stations during reinforcements. Other mechanics, such as Perk Packs, Portable Buy Stations, and Gulag Entry Kit, will follow suit midway through the season.
DMZ will add important news, such as the barter system, where you can exchange inventory items for other items without the intervention of money. Next to the buy stations you will see work tables where you can modify the weapons that you have smuggled. From the menu you will have several active operator slots at your fingertips, which roughly function as customizable classes where you can place the objects you want. Do you want to have an operator for infiltrations? Place items related to that play style, then choose it before starting the game. When you jump into the battlefield, new bosses and a new faction will await you.
For both games, an expanded arsenal awaits you with a franchise classic. The FJX Imperium sniper rifle has a shape that will not go unnoticed by fans, and that is that fills the gap of the famous Intervention. You will unlock it in the battle pass along with the Cronen Squall semi-automatic rifle. Later, two sidearms will arrive that promise to be automatic; one of them replaces the well-known Tec-9.
