The magic of television can be extremely surprising. Some performers must undergo laborious make-up sessions to be able to put themselves in the character’s shoes, both physically and mentally. The latest challenge that the HBO team has faced has a direct connection to the Batman universe. The Penguin series has the brilliant performance of Colin Farrell as the main villain/protagonist of the series. Yes, behind the Penguin’s scars is the renowned actor, and now we have been able to find out what the process has been like.

From his chest to his cheeks a silicone mold covers him that imitates the villain’s complexion. Those marked scars on the Penguin’s face are the result of a detailed artisanal process that could fit perfectly on the actor’s.
You won’t have to wait long to see the result of the series on your television. ‘The Penguin’ is scheduled to premiere on September 19 as part of Max’s catalog. It is expected that this first season will consist of 8 episodes released on a weekly basis. The series finale will arrive on November 7 of this year. Little by little, the works of the universe around ‘The Batman’ are being cemented, with the bat played by the renowned Robert Pattinson. Its sequel is expected sometime in the second half of 2026.
