Crunchyroll joins the trend and also prepares its year in review, see how to watch it

It seems that no one wants to be left behind when it comes to counting. If not in the world of music, then in the world of video games, or in this case, in the world of anime streaming. Through a post on its official site, Crunchyroll has announced that users of the platform will be able to review their anime year in review, or as they have dubbed it, the Crunchyroll Arc of 2024... hopefully “SPECIALZ” by King Gnu didn’t sound like the intro to your arc this year.

What do I need to do to view my Crunchyroll arc for the year 2024?

In order to view your stats for this year, you must first complete the following three items:

  1. Be premium subscribers prior to December 1, 2024
  2. Meet specific content engagement requirements
  3. Updated the Crunchyroll app to the latest version on your mobile device or tablet, as this is a mobile-only experience.

Once you’ve made sure you meet these requirements, you’ll need to log in to your Crunchyroll app. You will have to scroll down a bit before you come to the displayed banner that reads “Your 2024 Arc has been summoned! Relive all your anime adventures this past year with your biggest highlights.”

This recap will show you the total hours, episodes, and titles watched throughout the year, your top 3 series, genres, consecutive weeks watched, and the day you watched the most anime. Finally, the summary is given a persona tied to your results, including “‘Multi-Dimensional Hero With Something To Prove,’ ‘Hardboiled Detective Who Makes Their Own Rules’ and many more!,” in our case, a “Mercenary with a heart of gold.”
