CD Projekt RED

Cyberpubnk 2077 was just ‘a warm-up’ according to CDPR as they start work on the sequel

Members of CD Projekt RED celebrate the return to work as the studio begins developing the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, hyping it up with some mighty statements.

Update:
cyberpunk 2077 ultimate

It took several years of updates - including the recent and largest 2.0 - and an expansion, Phantom Liberty, but after all the problems and controversy, Cyberpunk 2077 ended up being an amazing game... and there is still one more update to go. At CD Projekt they always had great faith in the license, ensuring from the beginning that they had every intention of turning it into a saga, something that they are putting into practice since they have already begun working on its sequel.

CD Projekt has already started work on the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077

Several members of the studio from the Boston office have celebrated returning to work in the city’s freezing temperatures. “Sooo good to be back in the office -- already in the snowy Boston!” said Pawel Sasko, quest director for Cyberpunk 2077, in X. “Our core band had exciting discussions about next Cyberpunk2077 game. Love this team and our dystopian IP! On the picture: me & Sarah Gruemmer, Expert Quest Designer, who gave you Judy’s storyline.”

“First day in the Boston office!” says Igor Sarzynski, the game’s narrative director. “So good to meet old friends and officially kickstart our Orion journey. I couldn’t be more excited for this project and i’m sure we can make it something special. 2077 was just a warm-up”.

So the gears are already turning to take us back to Night City -or not?-, with a new installment that after what was learned with the first game, would have to aim to be a great game, from the beginning. However, this is not CD Projekt’s only project, since at Poland they will also continue working on Project Polaris, the code name for what they have already recognized publicly is the fourth installment of The Witcher, in which Sasko himself will collaborate from a distance.
