Daniel Craig returns to Netflix to solve a new murder case: release date for ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery’
Rian Johnson is back at the helm of the successful comedy, crime, and mystery saga that took everyone by surprise in 2019.

Fans of the saga created by Rian Johnson are in luck, because soon they will be able to enjoy the third installment, which has become one of the most eagerly awaited releases of the year. We are, of course, talking about ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,’ a film in which detective Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, will try to solve a new and tricky case. It will be in theaters on November 28 and shortly thereafter, on December 12, 2025, on Netflix.
To celebrate that it’s getting closer, the streaming platform has shared a new poster that seems like a statement of intent, as we can see Detective Blanc peering into a grave while several people (probably all suspects) look on with disdain.
Not all secrets can stay buried.

The story of ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out’ Mystery revolves around a murder that takes place in a church, and although little is known about the script, anyone who has seen the previous films knows exactly what to expect from such a premise: a mixture of mystery and comedy full of hilarious situations involving both Craig’s character and everyone else involved in the case.
